The clothes are so wearable, and very much my style.

Spotted these shoes on the Jak & Jil blog as well:
I'll be buying a cheap & cheerful, plain black pair of shoes and shooting various studs into them.

I found this on one of Stop Stealing My Look's blog posts,
the photo was in one of Vogue's 'From the Archives' series.
The photo's just so natural to me, and I love the asian influences in the styling.

Rooney Mara covers Vogue US November, shot by Mert & Marcus. More photos here.
She looks great in the editorial, but I'm not sold on the new Girl with the Dragon Tattoo film yet. Maybe I will be when I watch it, we'll see.

In amongst seeing in skirt at Jean Paul Gaultier F/W 2011-2012 and women in tailored suits at Dolce & Gabbana I am starting to wonder, is the definition of gender in fashion changing? Androgyny has been a key trend for quite some time now, but I wonder if we have surpassed androgyny altogether.
Seeing the beautiful Andrej Pejic in a dress a shock to some, but was it an eye-opener for the fashion world? Is gender even relevant any more? If anything, fashion should teach us that we can be anyone we want to be, regardless of our gender, sexuality, nationality, if we act the part and, most importantly, look the part.
Is fashion changing the way we define gender? Aside from an identity, can it be a look, a shape, a colour or even a fabric?
